8-Day Itinerary for Kilimanjaro: Shira Route
📍 Day 1: Arrival in Moshi
Activities: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Moshi.
Highlights: Meet your guide for a pre-trek briefing and check equipment.
📍 Day 2: Shira Gate to Shira Camp
Elevation: 1,640 m to 3,840 m (5,380 ft to 12,535 ft)
Distance: Approximately 8 km (5 miles)
Duration: 5-7 hours

Start your trek at Shira Gate, passing through lush rainforest.
Enjoy stunning views of Kilimanjaro as you ascend to Shira Camp.
